The Truth: The Pittsburgh Pirates struggles on the road continued this weekend, being swept by the Milwaukee Brewers. The Pirates have lost 13 straight on the road and are 13-51 (.203) for the season.

Coming into the series the New York Mets hadn’t won a National League road series all season (0-13-4) or scored more than five runs in a game over their last 20. That all changed in a hurry. New York lit up RHPs Jeff Karstens and James McDonald in the first two games before LHP Zach Duke outpitched Mets ace Johan Santana in the series finale Sunday.
