April 13th, 2009 | by SL |Welcome to Pirates Property. Climb aboard everyone, I’ll be your captain as we chase the Pittsburgh Pirates all season (and offseason) long. I’d like to introduce myself and tell you about what lies ahead.
My name is Scott Lewis and I’ve been granted the pleasure of serving you as the Pittsburgh Pirates Correspondent for the Fanball Blog Network. I’ve been watching Pirates’ baseball for nearly 20 years, and I’ve been patient in waiting for their return to glory. A lot of the pieces are in place now, and I think we’ve got an exciting team.
I’ve spent about two years working in the sports industry as a writer, an editor, a correspondent, and an analyst to several employers across North America. My goal with this blog is quite simple: I want to provide you with coverage of the daily existence of the Pittsburgh Pirates. I’ll be lending my own unique and irreverent approach to all things Buccos. Don’t shy away if you don’t like something I post, instead, let me have it in the comments section and I’ll be sure to respond.
I promise you that you’ll find intelligent, insightful, and sometimes hilarious coverage of Pirates’ stories, rumors, analysis, fantasy buzz, we’ll be bringing it all. If you crave all things black and gold baseball, then you can stop here for your daily feed.
